No doubt. We were big USM fans until this weekend. That's just the nature of the beast. I do think we could beat La Tech in a CCG but I'd much rather have it played up here and if you win out that's not gonna happen.

After watching UTSA against Middle I was very impressed. Even before Little Stock got hurt. But La Tech is a damn load at home.

If you guys win you host. Granted you won't be exactly at home but it won't be like us traveling if ya'll host.

So sure we're UTSA fans for a couple weeks. Doesn't exactly make us bad guys does it? And I know you didn't say it did.

We still have to win out and I don't take any game for granted. I had butterflies for both the FIU and FAU games at the start. I've been watching the college game my whole life. I think we should beat UNT and Marshall but I don't have them already marked down as wins.

I'm still a UTSA fan for their knocking off front runner UNT which reopened the door for our championship run in '13.

I'm not overlooking anyone after what happened to us last year against USM. One game at a time!

UNT, ODU, and Charlottes!

To be honest if I had my choice and could only pick one I would take a S. Miss win over ODU. That and a Western win over UNT wraps up the east. Then I will be a S. Miss fan week after next also. But honest;y a Western vs Tech rematch would probably be the best CCG.

Agreed - I'm sure most Tech fans would rather play ODU than have to beat WKU for a second time in the championship game!

Hopefully we can win our next 2 games and represent the West.

Don't think WKU will stumble, but stranger things have happened. With all the vitriol between certain La Tech and ODU posters, the buildup to such a game would be pretty fun.

We are getting ahead of ourselves. Winning out would be awfully tough for ODU, starting with Southern Miss (having 2 QBs out would help; sorry..) Western Kentucky should win out pretty easily.

The simple situation that ODU can win the East by running out the last three games combined with one loss by the Toppers is enough for me to maintain hope. If we manage to win the next two, and North Texas doesn't get the job done, you can bet I will be pulling for Marshall on the 26th!

The only way that happens is if the NCAA legalizes the "grounder pass"... That being said, I don't even think we'd be competitive in paper football...
