A Keith Wilson is taking credit for the comments shouted at CTT

I am actually the one who yelled at the coach that he is stealing money. But the interesting part of Tuberville yelling back at me to get a job is I have been a practicing attorney in Illinois for more than 20 years. My daughter attends UC and we were at the game. I simply yelled at him because of the horrid effort put forth by the team. I do wonder if he will apologize. If so, I accept the apology, no questions asked. I also do not want him to lose his job, but I stand by my comment he is stealing money. I also do not like the fact this newspaper refers to me as a heckler, I was simply a fan expressing frustrations with a bad effort against a very medicore BYU team. I also believe the local press is making a much bigger deal of our exchange because UC lost. No hard feelings from me at all.

Mike Bohn has reached out to me and all is good between us. I assured Mike it's not a big deal. I even apologized for my outburst at the coach for stealing money. Let's move on.

Ugh! Almost Keith, almost.

This isn't about how Keith Wilson feels. Tuberville did not have the fortitude to walk off the field while ignoring the crowd who is quickly moving against him. You think there might be some more people yelling at him at the Memphis game after we lose at UCF next week?

Bohn better hope there's anyone at the game who cares enough to yell at Tubs.

He is going to get verbally accosted after that Memphis game.

He'll have more cops surrounding him than a presidential detail.

It may happen before the game. Maybe Tuberville has finally figured out how the get a crowd in the stadium early.

Any veteran coach or player knows better than to pay any attention to a heckler. In cities like Ny, Philly et. al. it's a regular daily occurrence. I commend the guy for going public with it, and for Bohn/uc or anyone to think that the guy doesn't have the right to express that opinion is dead a.s wrong. Tuberville has had plenty of opportunity to prove the guy wrong on the field and continues to dig a deeper hole for himself. His press conferences have taken on a very 90's bengal feel. The next thing i expect is he will throw out that the offense has to average 29 points a game to put them over the top. I believe Dick LeBeau threw that classic out there one time.

Eh, I think there are better ways to express one's concerns. The team is walking to the locker room with their coach after an ugly loss, then they have to listen to that...

The University will listen to dollars. Tell them your dollars are leaving, and they'll listen. Yelling at the coach after a game...I'm sure it made you feel good, but it does nothing.

For people who are still attending games, there are no avenues to express disapproval right now. Booing is verboten since Tubby deflects that to the players. Tubby is walking into the coaches show with armed cop escorts and then won't take any questions on air or off. Mike Bohn sends off stock email responses. The media refuses to grill the coach in post game or Tuesday media avail abilities.

I get it. Blister his ass mercilessly in the one place it will get registered. It did.

Guy made national news for baiting Tuberville into a childish outburst. Id say he did something.....more than most actually.

The reason you were referred to as a heckler is because you sort of are a heckler...

The official attendance Saturday was 37,000+. Yes, many of those (I'm guessing 5,000) were BYU fans, but a lot of UC fans as well.

If the weather holds out, we'll probably see 30,000+ for Memphis.

Next year will be a different story. If people drop their season tickets and UCATS memberships, TT will be gone.

The difference is that CTT is paid to brush off comments like that and represent the school with grace. It's not like the guy insulted his mother. It was an innocuous comment as these things go.

Maybe...but the buyout will still be prohibitively high even at that point. I imagine they let him coach out the string, get his golden parachute, then see who's willing to follow in his footsteps.

The question becomes...by that point...can UC attract a coach with bonafides that will stay with the program and develop it. Recent history suggests not, and the boondoggle of AAC affiliation likely makes the position less enticing to a worthy candidate.

We might want to consider another model at this juncture.
