Week 2- top 15 predictions
With the second installment of CFP rankings coming up on Tuesday night, I thought I would take a shot at the top 15
1 - Alabama
2 - Clemson
3 - Michigan
4 - Ohio state
5 - Washington
6 - Louisville
7 - Wisconsin
8 - Auburn
9 - Penn state
10 - Oklahoma
11 - Colorado
12 - Utah
14 - Oklahoma state
15 - Texas A&M
I feel pretty confident in 1-8, after that it gets kinda muddy. You can make lots of arguments for lots of teams. The last two positions in the top 15 are particularly hard, I have LSU at #16.

Ohio State shouldn't jump Washington. Other than that I don't see much in the way of issues.

RE: Week 2- top 15 predictions
A&M won't drop all the way to 15. And it's not the old poll mentality where if you win, you are guaranteed to move up blindly. I mean, Colorado isn't moving up 4 spots by beating a terrible UCLA team. They just aren't. I know folks want it to be that way- but that's not happening.
1-4 will be Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Washington
5-6 will be Ohio St, Louisville
7-9 will be Wisconsin, Auburn, Penn St
after that, it gets merky really fast. But 1 point- there is a huge gulf between 6 and 7 and another huge gulf between 9 and 10.

Ohio St I annihilated a top 10 team, even if Nebraska was overrated. The committee seems to be emphasizing quality wins & SOS.

To call Nebraska a top 10 team is laughable.
I don't think that will be lost on the committee.

Believe me I want UW to be #4, but I think the win over Nebraska is going to propel OSU to that spot.
We can debate the validity of the #10 ranking but at this point it doesn't matter.
I still think if Washington wins out they'll be in but at this time I think the committee values the B1G and SEC conferences over the PAC. We'll see
