Amazing how USM has managed to work itself into that one percentile.

Whichever route you choose, he still f***ed us either way.
Also, self-imposing the post-season bans when we had no hope of making a post-season in the wake of the investigation rather than being given them on the back end as we try to recover from this debacle was absolutely the wise thing to do.
I'm not concerned with the post season ban. its the self imposed reduction of scholarships that hurts worse. why do that? afraid the ncaa would reduce more? doubt it. make them do it ffs. maybe it will be less. the damned investigation was fluid....let it play out before you destroy your own program. of course, they did that with the Doc hire anyway.
The same principle is at work with the scholarship reductions. We could either take them immediately, get them out of the way at a time we were already hamstrung by the looming uncertainty anyway, or we could wait and let the NCAA hand them down and just have to deal with it longer as we tried to recover.
They were coming either way, and if you honestly believe otherwise, you're beyond help.
the logic was sound once discovery was on the loose....
its really simple....I have no clue how the avg. human can't understand that part of the equation....

Could you have done any worse than SUNWACUSA Eagle?

I mean we criticize the admin and it may or may not be fair. But they aren't exactly sitting on a gold mine. Not sure how the best AD in the country could get us in another conference at this point. I think most of the poor leadership occurred in the late 90s and early 2000s. For the past 5 or so years I'm not sure it matters who the AD is. We just have to win.

It mattered when Eloss and Tyndall were hired.

I agree with Eagle9. We're not going to a better conference..might as well except it. However, we need to be at the top of the conference and be in contention every year.
