AAC Bowls 2016-17
The American has 6 teams bowl-eligible so far: Navy, Tulsa, Houston, Temple, USF, and Memphis.
-UCF is 5-4 and needs to win 1 from Cincy, Tulsa, or USF.
-Cincy is 4-5 and needs to win 2 from UCF, Memphis, or Tulsa.
-SMU is 4-5 and needs to win 2 from ECU, USF, or Navy.
-ECU is 3-6 and needs to win out vs SMU, Navy, and Temple.
-Tulane is 3-6 and needs to win out vs Houston, Temple, and UConn.
-UConn is out at 3-7.
The American has 8 bowl tie-ins this year:
– Armed Forces Bowl (Navy) vs. Big 12
– AutoNation Cure Bowl vs. Sun Belt
– Birmingham Bowl vs. SEC
– Marmot Boca Raton Bowl vs. Conference USA
– Miami Beach Bowl vs. MAC
– Military Bowl vs. ACC
– Popeyes Bahamas Bowl vs. MAC
– St. Petersburg Bowl vs. ACC
I don't think we fill our 8 bowl slots. I see UCF going 6-6 exactly. I don't see the others getting to 6 wins unless USF stumbles in a game or two.

UCF will be the only one from that group to make a bowl. That's a nice accomplishment for a new coach taking over an 0-12 team. Are UCF fans happy with Frost so far?

Yes. I think some of the close loses will turn into wins next season. I just don't know how long we will hold on to him. I guess that is a good problem to have.

Of those, only UCF will get in, IMO.

ECU may beat SMU and UCF may beat Tulsa. Either way I agree with 7 bowl teams and the rest of your picks.

If UCF gets bowl eligible I pray to God we don't go to the St Petersburg Bowl.

UCF most likely goes to Cure Biwl vs Sun Belt. The St Pete bowl has an ACC team tie in so will go to a higher rated team
With Navy in Armed Forces vs B12
Birmingham vs SEC
Military vs ACC
St Pete vs ACC
Become the next three highest and will go to Houston,Tulsa,Temple,USF or Memphis depending on the finish of those five
Miami Beach bowl will probably take one of those also
Boca Raton next
Bahamas and Cure Bowl are the lowest ones

I vote for Memphis to anywhere in Florida.

ECU won't be bowling this year unless a Christmas Miracle happens.
