The OC needs to go. How can you call the wildcat on 4th and two with Boone out with an injury. I can't remember Tion ever running the wildcat and being successful at it.

Don't discount the element of surprise. It's like running RDA IV up the middle over and over. Opposing coaches were stunned. Who would do something like that? The Riverboat Gambler, baby. That's who.

I know I just said it a few posts ago but I suspect Kiel can't throw on the move because 2 straight coordinators have refused to move him. Makes him an easy target

he is certainly a prototypical pocket passer, but change it up a few times in the game, bootlegs etc., if it isn't there take 5 yards get out of bounds.

Yes - around the 5, and the sequence was the team came up to the line of scrimmage as if to go for it, and the stadium was electric - the 5,000 BYU fans at that end were all yelling like we would have if BYU was going to try for the 1st down. Then we call a time out, without seemingly even trying to draw BYU off side and send the field goal team out. 03-banghead You could just feel all the air go out of the stadium. That gives you an idea of how much faith they have in our running game. I get wanting to put points on the board after the long drive, but jeez - the offense has been in the dumpster basically all season - even if you don't make it your defense is fresh and they have the ball inside their own 5 yard line. If you stop them you probably get the ball back at midfield. You wouldn't have to move it much to get back in field goal range. You weren't going to shut BYU out so 3 wasn't going to do it - and they never got that close to scoring a touchdown again (at least not while we were still at the game).

I think it's a moot question...

The OC is an idiot - unproven and never should have been hired. The dumbest and (hopefully) last coaching decision TT makes. That hire ruined Gunner and this team.

Not giving Kiel the start on senior night is a ******** move by TT. No disrespect to Moore but Kiel is a better QB and has a history with this team. If he isn't fired I'll be the first to grab a pitchfork...

Yup TT has zero class. Gunner should have at least ran the first series.

I don't really care if he started or not and it really makes very little difference because both QBS own the touchdownless streak but considering how little separation there is between the two not playing Gunner for a couple series given all he's accomplished is nothing less than a direct shot at Gunner.

RE: Devil's Advocate RE: Gunner Kiel
Whatever the issue is between Gunner and CTT - it has ruined the season. On senior night we watched the start go to the trunover machine named Moore. On the post game interview with Tony Pike Tubbs was all about the seniors - just after he gave Gunner the middle finger for all to see.

We may never know what happened - but whatever it was has ruined the season. We would have been better off if Gunner was not on the team so we would not have had to watch the idiocy in action - knowing there was a better option.

Aside from Batman kicking the field goal - the highlight for me when CTT did his commercial video and the stadium errupted with boos. He has lost the season. He has lost the fans.

If the man had any dignity he would simply resign and admit he has failed miserably.
