Bobcat Black $300 + $1000 dollar donation per season ticket.
Platinum $255 + $225 dollar donation per season ticket.
Gold $225 + $100 dollar donation per season ticket.
Silver $190 + $50 dollar donation per season ticket.
Bobcat Black is courtside. Lower bowl season tickets in the Convo range from $480 to $240.
Well that's just not accurate. At Akron it is $1210 for floor seats (OU $1050) and between $410-$810 for the lower bowl seats ($240-$480 at OU). Reserved seats at Akron are $200 (OU it is $190). Both offer $60 general admission.

The pricing say $1000/$750 donation for Bobcat Black seats so I think it depends if its a sideline front row or behind the basket.
It does sound like Akron is another MAC school with some high end demand for men's basketball. I doubt it exists in most other places in the MAC which is my point.
Toledo-
1st row, floor seating: $1,200 donation/seat required
2nd row, floor seating: $1,000 donation
Club seating: $500 donation
Then $350, $250, $75 for seating in the lower bowl.
And I'm almost positive these prices for Toledo do not even include the tickets, themselves.
Ohio is definitely not "in another timezone compared to other MAC basketball schools"

Akron and Toledo give me a fourth school? Buffalo maybe?
Miami's tickets are as follows:
Courtside $220 + $250 donation
General Public $180
Eastern Michigan tickets:
Courtside $135 + $500 donation
Champions Club $300
Premium Reserved $135
General Admission $120

Again, you said Ohio was "in another timezone compared to other MAC basketball schools." No, they are not.

Toledo has always had a pretty strong fan base. not always that vocal. the difference is we have an average band and typically lousy marketing and in game fan experience. good ohio games are a big time basketball experience. ball st was once a formidable crowd. the bottom fell out on their fan base around the turn of the century.

In addition to previously mentioned Akron, Toledo, and Buffalo below is a link to Kent's season ticket information. That makes at least 5/12 MAC schools with similar premium seat pricing. Didn't bother to look at any others.
Courtside - $1,275
Other Premium Seating - $375-$500
Reserve - $250

RE: Basketball Exhibition Weekend
Interesting Buffalo result. Hard to read much into an exhibition game either way, but going to OT with a school that appears to be named after a Game of Thrones character isn't the most positive sign.
As for the attendance debate/pissing match, I think in this case the schools located in larger cities have the advantage, at least with hoops. I know I've never even considered season tickets for basketball, simply because there are too many variables to make it to a game. Half (roughly) of the games are going to be on a weeknight, which means you have to navigate work obligations and other social/family obligations. Throw in that the weather is completely unpredictable, means that the travel time is unpredictable, and it's tough to commit to making many games, unless you live in the immediate area.

+1 for GoT reference.
I think playing in a city like Akron would help if you weren't competing directly against an NBA team that plays 40 minutes away. It is probably why schools like Creighton and Gonzaga draw so well. Both schools play in large mid-size cities (like Akron) that really have no NBA team to travel to see or watch on TV (unlike Akron).

Hamilton didn't play as he was recovering from a wrist injury. Bulls looked disinterested from the start.. I don't put too much stock into these games and I would rather be in UB's shoes than VCU's and lose these games.

How can a team be disinterested when playing their first game against another team, any other team, after weeks of practice against each other? I don't get it.
