The most depressing part of that performance in the presser was his comment about how his team played LSU even for a half. He also bragged about his team being ranked in the top 30 in offense and defense. I mean if he is going to brag about those facts while his team is getting skull dragged, then he is an absolute lost cause. He evidently was able to out coach other SWAC coaches, but he doesn't have a f'n clue how to coach against FBS coaches. I guess we beat Kentucky because he had not yet had time to put his team to sleep and inspire them to not care about winning.

I have never bought into the "he is one of us". He played at Ole Miss. When the chance came during his first tenure as an assistant at USM to leave for Ole Miss, he took off to Oxford.

I swear he acts like the son of Eloss Johnson....

Tough crowd, I can't understand half of what Ed Orgeron says and he's interim HC at LSU.

Monken loaded up on Jucos so he could split as soon as possible, and Hopson was stuck with what was left. The Juco route is never good for program only for the coach and Tech fans know all about this from Sonny Dykes. Got to give a coach more than 1 year especially after all the juco players Monken recruited.

Well, here is a fact about Hopson's judgment as a HC you can relate to. Last spring Jordan Harris, a mlb from Iowa State wanted to transfer to USM as a fifth year transfer. He was from Mississippi and wanted to play his last season closer to home. He almost signed with USM out of high school.

Well Hopson made the decision to not sign Harris even though we graduated our MLB who was very good. Instead he signed a cornerback from Louisville who was a fifth year transfer.

Now Harris is having a great season for LaTech and on schedule to have 100 tackles this season. The cornerback from Louisville has barely played. Hopson has shown nothing to encourage me he has a clue.

Still no movement by Vegas to handicap this game. You guys have any idea if Mullens will play yet? Looks like that may well be the holdup.

Essentially a coin toss. I can certainly see it going either way.

With a bowl bid clinched and FIU/FAU to follow theres not a lot of pressure to get a win but since Charlotte beat em I kinda feel we've gotta win now. You don't want those guys feeling too high on themselves

I really hope not. Burning his shirt would be beyond stupid. This team isn't going anywhere this season so burning his shirt for 4 games.....please no.

He's a talented dual threat kid. The 6'1" 205 measurements are much more accurate.

With the way we've played recently we aren't playing 4 games before next season unless you are counting the Spring Game as #4. Our defense makes swiss cheese look like cheddar cheese. Only play ODU needs to practice is "run up the middle" and they probably don't need to practice that as it's proven we don't practice to stop it.

like I said I would if/when the number was published, it means I loaded up on ODU to win the game straight up, have ODU -1 in the first half, and have a smattering at -2.5 for the game
