SOT: Former ECU Ast Coach Donnie Kirkpatrick Excelling as JMU's Offensive Coordinator
JMU's only lost this year was to UNC and looking to be a top seed in the FCS playoffs. Donnie was one of the few guys we ECU fans all wanted to be kept with the coaching turnover. Spent 11 years here, was a receivers coach that had been promoted to Assistant Head Coach under Ruff and was also our recruiting coordinator.
Love seeing that he's successful outside of Greenville!

As someone who has followed the FCS for a while, JMU is doing as well as well on offense as they have in quite a while.
JMU is the one FCS teams that has both the talent and coaching to end the Byzin's ridiculous streak of playoff wins.

Should have promoted him instead of that moron Dave Nichol! Or better yet hired a real OC.

Even if his only job was recruiting coordinator I wish we had kept him on.

And we play them next year.
At least we will have some Mo talent and a deep threat into the team by then.
