Probably helps that I've convinced many of my Bernie friends to vote Gary rather than Hillary, I'm sure not the only one to do so.

If all of that is true but Trump ends up losing Michigan he can only blame himself. Her ground game is so much better than his.

Can you add that a lot of Union workers might think that Trump would be the better choice for them?

Hillary has scheduled a trip to Michigan for Monday.

Not looking good.

Today, Trump has added an 11pm Monday stop back in Michigan. I think they smell blood there.

I'd go as far in saying Fo's point is probably the biggest reason.

Rust Belt Blue-Collar Democrats are a different breed than the touchy-feely Coast Democrats. They're a bit more socially conservative and mainly vote according to one issue: Labor/Trade.

It was this topic where Trump was most confident and on-point in the debates. And in one debate in particular, it was the opening topic. So it was early when Trump was calm and collected, before the inevitable meltdowns later on.

I knew for months that this region would be tighter than expected, though I didn't quite think it'd go as far as Trump basically sweeping the area. But I'm not too surprised.

Once Bernie won Michigan in the primaries, that should have been an indication that Clinton was going to have trouble.

Trump got the same vote total as Romney in MI and WI. Hillary underperformed bigly!
