As of end of the game he was taken to the hospital - presumably for X-rays and MRI.

Coach Stock just said he will be out for a long time after the game. Just based on the way he talked it sounded like done for the season.

For those of you not aware Brent was injured in the first quarter today.

Man, tough break guys... I hate to hear this... Probably the safe thing to shut him down for the year so he'll be healthy in '17.

John Urzua will be starting QB the rest of the year... he is a freshman who played maybe one quarter of play prior to today and that was against an FCS team. He's gotta grow up fast. Good news is that he's athletic enough to win the last three but he is so inexperienced I have no confidence that we will be able to do that.

Update from inside program: Brent suffered collarbone injury. Severity unknown until X-rays are done.

Likely done for season sans bowl game.

Pressure is on Urzua now to win these games. Our defense is horrendous so he will have to be the leader of this team, nobody stepped up on D at all and they looked lost the whole time. Really looks like we have gone downhill.

I hope Stock Jr just rests up and takes it easy, healing over time and not rushing things. One tiny silver lining is we will at least have an experienced backup in Urzua for next year assuming Stock returns as he should...

That sucks. All of us are one or two injuries from the same situation.

This is true but my impression of the UTSA pass defense was not very good. I believe a shootout would have ensued with Brent. In essence, like every other game we've played this year.
