RE: BYU game thread
I no longer have to carry the shitshow banner.

I love that after he tells the guy to go to hell that he tells him to get a job. A guy who probably works his ass off for a full week 50 weeks a year for 50k to be able to buy season tickets...and Tubby is logging a casual part time job with bankers hours between rounds of golf for $43k each and every week with as many vacations as he can pack in.

I have an idea, Tubby...do your ******* job you d-bag.

God I hope so, I really do... I just don't think it's a sure thing TT's a goner yet. I thought Marvin Lewis was a dead man walking after the 2010 season and look how that crap turned out 03-puke

I really don't know why but I have a very bad feeling about this. I guess I just don't trust Bohn to be smart enough to make this decision.

Bohn is not as stupid as everyone in this board thinks he is. But, assuming that he is, the incident with the fan today is the type of thing were Bohn is getting a phone call from the Board of Trustees telling him to fix it or they will.

The difference there is that being an NFL franchise, Mikey makes his money regardless. At UC, Bohn absolutely has to have the fans on board.

Well, at least he didn't tell anyone to go to hell or get a job...so there is that.

If Bohn were really into the money, he'd be asking Western And Southern for how much they'd be willing to pay to get their logo off the background... Gotta believe there could be some coin in that direction...

I would actually approach BYU for another series. Until things went south for UC it was a fun atmosphere due to all the visiting fans. With UC's situation, I would be looking for fill non-conference slots with national teams like BYU and regional schools that travel.

Absolutely agree; I think if the P5/G5 separation continues to grow, UC will be hard pressed to get quality non-conference opponents into Nippert. I could even see some of the existing contracts cancelled (Nebraska, Indiana?).

BYU will face some of the same challenges as an independent with scheduling. Let's lock in a home and home series for a few years. Their fans turned out the way we've come to expect P5 programs to do when they visit and they were a classy bunch.

Sadly, it was a very winnable game for UC but that's the subject of a half dozen other threads. And that will get fixed.
