Congrats to Navy!
Can't believe this thread hasn't been created yet.

Notre Dame is down, but beating them is always a great feat, no matter the record.

Quality members of this conference, I hope you guys get that NY6 spot.

RE: Congrats to Navy!
Thanks.
Loved ND kicking the field goal with 7:30 left....and not getting the ball again.

Just saw Navy won! Congrats! Kinda cool you beat them by the same score Tulsa did in 2010 in our only meeting with them ever.

Notre Dame had SIX total possessions in the game. Navy's last two drives took ~9 min and ~8 min each. That's a stark reality when Navy's gameplan is on point.

We gotta get by ECU first, but yeah it's gonna be a good one! Two totally different styles facing off against one another.

Navy is just average on defense...but....That does not matter when you cant get them off the field. Great game plan and execution. Less than 20 penalties the entire season speaks for their disciplined approach. When they don't turn the ball over?.... They are damn near unbeatable.

Can Navy fun the table and slip above Boise and WMU? Should be an interesting story to watch.

So glad USF basically blew them out of the game so quickly. If you are not an elite team with players who can keep up with the triple options, getting up big early is the only way to beat Navy.

What's so great is beating even a down blue blood is always good especially on national television because of the attention it garners, and it doesn't hurt that it adds to our p5 scalp count. If Houston can take out Louisville and add to that count, perception wise that would be considered a home run. It could also force the discussion of if a 2 loss AAC team should get the access bowl bid over any other g5 especially if that champ comes from the AAC west. This my friends is how we start to change our image from the other g4s.

I have low hopes of beating Louisville but I'm still going to the game regardless. Unfortunately my section is the sun baked end-zone. Thank god its a 7pm game though I'll only have to worry about the disappointment killing me and not the heat stroke.
