Great. Dwayne and I estimated there to be about 4K LA Tech fans in attendance tonight, maybe more. There were also a lot Tech fans scattered throughout the stadium. There were Tech fans everywhere.

Tech also traveled the band, cheerleaders and dance team. There was a lot of Tech red and blue there tonight.

What was the half time adjustment from our D that shut down UNT completely?

steady diet of LB (and a few safety) blitzes. Too many times Harrell (the OC) gets caught with wrong plays/packages in on 2nd down. Fine has no chance to get out of the call (he's not allowed to audible)

Run into any UNT folks? What did they think of the large Tech crowd?

That's a nice compliment. Tech opt more for the run last night that any conference game so far. Thats one reason Tech's defense played so well in the second half.

UNT is much improved

I talked with a lot of UNT fans and they were all great. Had a lot of "Good luck" comments from them and quite a few about the size of the crowd we brought. Overall, it was a great time visiting with their fans and hanging out in Denton before the game. I'll definitely be back in two years.

UNT has some good fans.

I think they might have set their expectations too high for this year. They could still get to 6 wins, They wont win @ WKU but could possibly beat USM at home and UTEP on the road. Litrell has their program moving in the right direction

Thanks. Every LA Tech fan I saw last night was very respectful and kind. Sometimes visiting fans will come into Apogee and try to act like they own it. Dawg fans didn't act like that, even after the game was decided.

After I drove back home, I checked out the game on my DVR. I wanted to see how the crowd looked and sounded on TV. Y'all brought a good crowd and we had a few more then normal, so it looked pretty full on TV, but ESPN kept the stadium volume down on their broadcast. Very sad, because there was some noise in Apogee last night, and C-USA needs more energetic games being broadcast.

I hope to make the trip to Ruston next season, hopefully with an improved Mean Green team. Do the West a favor and beat UTSA. 04-cheers

Obviously we were surrounded by UNT folks. And I gotta say, UNT fans were all as nice as they could be. With about 3 or 4 min left in the game, one young man --a UNT student-- was walking up the aisle to leave and made a point of telling a group of us LA Tech fans, "thanks for making the trip over, guys. You have a great team. Especially that offense. You guys are where we want to be. Be careful going home".

By the way, this was UNT's homecoming, and I thought the UNT fans turned out in big numbers. Very nice attendance last night for a team that was 4-4.
