They can't. The Sunbelt voted to terminate their contract and Idaho has decided to go back to FCS in the Big Sky.

They and New Mexico St play 1 more year in the Sun Belt. In 2018 Idaho will play in the Big Sky (FCS) I've heard that NM St will play as an FBS Indy in 2018, but haven't heard of any scheduled games yet.

I remember preseason talk that Memphis would fall back to reality and not go bowling this year. Our drop off isn't as bad as once thought. 2 more classes of his type of players and we should be humming on all cylinders
