RE: Huskies Win !
Yeah, we can still beat the worst of the MAC. It still doesn't mean much. Beating Toledo would be a nice thing thou. I have my doubts still, but there is at least a sign of hope. Too bad this game is not in DeKalb.

Watching players with superior talent sit on the bench because the staff can't figure out who is better at football?

Im going to guess that Graham wont be on the team next year.

He'll be there. He's a Carey favorite, and his father is a big donor. I would not be surprised if he starts. I won't be happy, but I won't be surprised. Carey sticks with his guys.

if he has to come in to spell the starter, let him do it within his limits. Hand the ball off and do some zone read runs. Under no circumstances throw the ball. The throw he made last night into double coverage was inexcusable. It looked like he just threw it and hoped for the best. I am hoping the kid from Georgia has some talent. Have to shore up DL and corners have to be taller. Laurie gets hurt every time he makes a play. Maybe the size of the DBs is why we get so many PI calls.

And I thought the coach said Graham had made progress this spring. He looks worse than last year.

You can't blame people for not being too excited about beating a 1 win team.

RE: Huskies Win !
In Carey's defense, he made the right call with going with Maddie. His job is on the line, so I can't blame him for making the easy choice,...Graham over Santa. If Maddie can't go, at some point you have to make a call; the safe choice vs. the best choice; Graham vs. Santa . The obvious ....Go with Maddie; but make sure your 2017 starter gets as many reps as possible. If that's Graham, ride that horse:; if it's Santa or whomever, live with the inevitable miscues., and chalk it up to the to lessons learned; which is the price for a successful 2017.

FYI Santa was going to start the 2nd half if Maddie had not been able to go. Carey lost it in the locker room on Graham and they got into it and Carey yelled ''Santa you are starting the 2nd half'' at the end of the argument with Graham. It was epic I am told !!

It would be great to get Santa some game experience this year, I hope that happens. He is really reminiscent of Harnish playing style-wise and looks like a great fit for our offense.

Have to say, that pass Graham threw that was picked, was a I have no clue what I'm doing pass. It was awful. A coach has a right to be pissed and if graham got into it with him, maybe Graham should have stayed in the locker room for the rest of the night.

I have no idea where the truth lies and really hate to feed rumors this because I have no idea what was actually going on in people head but...

To go along with this rumor...For this game I was sitting on the East side in the Handicap section right on the 50. Right after Graham threw that double coverage INT I thought I heard Carey yelling at Graham in his face "didn't you see the *%#$ coverage?" Then Graham flinched closer to Carey and with eyes extra wide he replied "Ya"...then walked away.

To completely counter the rumor: Graham was warming up out of the locker room at the half and put on his helmet and went on to the field after the KO and Santa did not.

Carey is a complete arse. He blows up at players all the time. It's embarrassing to see him chew out a player on TV time after time. Do you think STF chews Carey out?

I think this one was warranted. It isn't like Graham has never played. Looked like a pop warner throw just hoping someone catches it with two defenders. Out of the remaining season, I think for the sake of progress for the team/coaches HAVE to see Santa in game action. I just hope we get another game with a big lead like we had against BG.

That's old school and counterproductive with today's players. They just tune that stuff out. The whole time the coach is yelling the player is thinking "Coach is an *******". Plus, what do recruits think when they see it. He needs to stop that. I am a Carey defender in a lot of ways but he makes himself look dumb with that behavior.

I was wondering if Carey's attitude helped Sims' career go downwards. Sims was fine until his senior year when Carey was coach. Kicking has to have a big mental aspect, and the coach yelling at you after a miss probably just made things worse.

I noticed Carey yelling at, I think #2 (there was another player nearby) after we blocked a kick, I assume it was about the TD on the previous play though the player wasn't anywhere near the play. Maybe he should have been? I don't know.

On a side note, why does the announcer tell the crowd to make noise to get a T-shirt? I don't know if it's ROTC people or what, but they only throw shirts into the stands by the north endzone. WTF is that? The kids get up and start to make noise and look for the people throwing t-shirts, but they're 80 yards away and never get any closer (except once). Small-time.

Not true. Sims had an awful game in the GoDaddy Bowl in 2012, going 1-4 on FGs. He also sat on the bench by himself, hanging his head after each miss. A kicker can't do that.

Sims coach in the GoDaddy Bowl? Dave Doeren.
