Real News Info Tiger Related!!!!
First off Mike Aresco is too meeting with some at ESPN in a couple of weeks but a Renegotiation of the TV Contract won't be til December, But Early meetings to get ball rolling will be before then....Also ESPN is working with the AAC to secure its Future....BUT you guys are missing the Bigger picture...ESPN just last month LOST 651, 000 Subscribers and that is a big blow and has been losing as many as 250,000 to 300,000 for that last couple of months....The Cable bubble is on the verge of Busting as early as 2021 at the rate things are going....Now ESPN Owns and BEt the House on Live Sports Rights to slow the Erosion from cable to Live Stream Internet services....Again Amazon is on the verge of becoming the first to lauch a Live Streaming Channel Ala Cable and Is Willing and Already going after More Live Sports Globally viewed....They are in Fact and have been talking with AAC and Aresco for awhile as James Delorenzo and Charlie Neiman are good friends and know each other through the years in the TV Biz...Also Amazon is wanting to become the NEW AGE MSO that is Multiple Systems Operator, A Tech Industry term used by Cable and Satellite companies....Again It the Future and where its heading and the AAC is the First one that is Actually close and in the process of working with Amazon and Possibly Google to in which they have been talking with as well....Fact is AAC WILL get More TV Money and Live Stream Money....SEC, ACC and others are tied to those Large ESPN based TV deals but when the Bubble pops and it is coming and they know it, and they can't stop it now, then they might have to make Sports Gambling legal to off set the lost Revenue of those contracts....Now as far as the recruiting goes.....We IN fact did too back off Robinson and the others a bit....Because we have other needs and Other guys WHO are Coming....How bout you guys go ask the Staff how they Really feel bout WR Mannie Ford, or Patrick Howell Linebacker....Or Arlington Hambright a OT....Go Watch Robinson, then Watch Ford and you can just see the talent Ford Has, yet has not been to camps and is a Late bloomer now that he has focused on FB instead of BB...Now far as TV Contract, Funny how NFL, College P5 games and CFP games are Down each year from the year before and steadily in the decline because the average Sports fans get bored and tired of the Same thing with No fun or entertainment value....Yet AAC Games Ratings are Up and Keep climbing....Think about that Tigernation.....#The World Is Ours Memphis....
