First, I have no confidence that TCU will be bowl eligible. Second, I really don't see them sending us to the HOD Bowl (unless perhaps we win out). Third, if all of that were to happen, I would love it. THE University of the Old Dominion -- in the Cotton Bowl against the Big 12. Could it really get any better than that?

This is all hypothetical, so this will be my last comment, but think about it. If TCU goes to the HOD bowl against C-USA, they are undoubtedly the worst bowl eligible team in the Big 12, and very likely with only six wins. In that case, we would give them a game and have a chance of winning, and just being in a bowl game against a Big 12 team would do wonders for our recruiting and national name recognition.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
