Exclamation PJ Fleck on watch list for another national coaching award
"P.J. Fleck joins Jim Harbaugh on watch list for another national coaching award" - http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2...iver_index

The highlights from the article:

- Fleck is one of 18 coaches being considered for the 2016 Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year award, the Dodd Trophy Foundation and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl announced Monday.

- The list of coaches represents all Power 5 conferences, the American Athletic Conference, Mid-American Conference and Mountain West Conference.

- Bobby Dodd's coaching philosophy was built upon three things: leadership, scholarship and integrity.

- Each coach on the watch list has a winning record, superior Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores and graduation rates along with a commitment to serve his community.

- Fleck is the only MAC coach on the list.

RE: PJ Fleck on watch list for another national coaching award
Sorry despite a record of 5-4 so far Chris Creighton belongs on that list. Anyone who knows college football would agree that EMU is the hardest if not the most challenging job in FBS football for a variety of reasons. Whether its knocking doors on dorm rooms to get students to games, coming up with the rebranding of EMU football (ETough, the Factory), a total revamp of camps, social media presence, pre-game activities, the handicapped kids camp, dozens of community events which players participate in, academic achievements of the football team (tops in the MAC football grade point for 2 years), respect for non-football students Chris Creighton hasn't taken no it can't be done or no it can't be changed as an answer. He keeps working harder.

PJ has done a great job, but WMU doesn't compete in U of M's shadow, isn't a commuter school and had a winning tradition with Cubit and Darnell at times. EMU has known only failure.

That being said I hope PJ wins the award on behalf of the MAC, of all the candidates mentioned he deserves it.

^^^^ If EMU didn't get thumped by Miami-OH at home last week, I would agree with you.
