45% say emails worse than Watergate, 61% fear probe to drag into White House
Watergate had the media exposing the crimes and cover up. The email scandal and Clinton Foundation scandal has the media aiding in the cover up. How times have changed.

Quote:The specter of a drawn-out, Nixon-like investigation is clouding Democrat Hillary Clinton's race for the presidency with a new poll showing nearly half equating the email scandal to Watergate and even more worried that the FBI probe will drag on into her presidency.

While polls out Monday morning do not show a big swing away from Clinton to Republican Donald Trump, they do show renewed concerns about the revived investigation into her email server due to thousands of previously unknown emails found on the computer of former Rep. Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

While unlike Watergate, which eventually led to former President Richard Nixon's resignation, a Morning Consult poll asked voters to compare the 1970s-era affair to the email controversy and 45 percent said the Clinton email scandal is "worse than the Watergate scandal."

If the media is aiding in the coverup?

That's weird because I could have sworn I saw it on all the news all weekend long.

Me thinks you don't know what Watergate was all about.

You do realize the break in was amateur hour. The graft, corruption, and sale of access on the scale we are seeing right now is unprecedented at the federal level. It's decades in the making.

5 field offices (and counting) investigating the corruption and $lu$hfund of Clinton, Inc.

This is as bad as it will ever get. That is the long term lesson from this shitshow.
