in this case, the opening line is set to give wiggle room between winning by 4 tds vs. 3 tds and a fg....it's also that high b/c you guys are rolling over teams with losing records....

I wouldn't bet it unless laying the pts....I thought it was a tad low....

I think the line is interesting compared to the FAU game. That one started at 16 and rose to 22. This one starts at 25. So is Vegas giving WKU that much of a bump for playing at home? It are they starting with it that high hoping people take it based on the final score of the last game? I don't think FIU is near as bad as FAU

like I said, it's about the vig.....

the closer the number is established to what the GP bets on, the less risk they have on who wins or loses.....if 1m is bet on each side and the number never moves, that's a guaranteed 100k....if the number moves, they can get bit on the middle....

it's always in their best interest to establish a line that never moves....that's how they built that into the mecca it is today....odds in their favor always wins en macro over time....

The line seems stupid high to me. FIU was neck and neck with MT (who were 18 point favorites) down the stretch and then shot themselves in the foot... How are they 29 point dogs now? I get that WKU is clearly the better team, but are they 30 points better? I'm guessing people may be looking at last years' score, which was a completely different scenario. That team has died (thankfully).

I agree with this. But outside of the Vandy game, WKU has been routing people at home for the last two years.

I still have a hard time seeing it being 30 points.

Last week I said it would be close with MTSU vs FIU, I was right! Too bad they messed it up for themselves. I think they at least beat the spread here... 30 points is a lot.

The way our team has improved from the dreadful Ron Turner start, id be moderately surprised if we were blown out by more than 20 points

The spread seems a little high, but our team seems to be playing very well, and our offense is rolling.

Not that I'm aware of. I had to add a sports package 10 dolla a month to get it. I'll cancel after football. I'm still fighting food poisoning. I have season tickets but just didn't want to risk being up there today. So sitting watching in the living room.
