RE: MAC Races
Who would have thought going into this season that Bowling Green would be eliminated by October?

Ohio by beating Buffalo on Thursday will eliminate both UB and KSU from the division race.

RE: MAC Races
MAC race update 11/5

West

Western Michigan
1 game lead on Toledo with 3 to play
3 game lead on Northern Illinois with 3 to play
5 game lead on Central Michigan with 2 to play (eliminated)
4 game lead on Eastern Michigan with 3 to play (eliminated)
5 game lead on Ball State with 3 to play (eliminated)

Toledo
1 game behind Western Michigan with 4 to play
1 game lead on Northern Illinois with 3 to play

East

Ohio
2 game lead on Akron with 2 to play
2 game lead on Miami with 2 to play
3 game lead on Kent St with 2 to play (eliminated)
4 game lead on Buffalo with 2 to play (eliminated)
6 game lead on Bowling Green with 2 to play (eliminated)

Miami
2 game behind Ohio with 2 to play
1 game lead on Akron with 2 to play

The west race is between WMU/Toledo with NIU hanging in by a thread.

The east race is Ohio with Miami/Akron both still in as of this week. If Ohio collapses the last two weeks against spiraling CMU and Akron then Miami has a decent shot with BGSU and Ball State its final two opponents.
