Staff was evaluating shooters. A 1,2 or 3 or a combo. They want another guy that can put it in the basket.

As long as a redshirt year is available, that's the typical thing for a transfer to do.

He's not listed as playing for Serbia. I'm not gonna take the time to track down if he's playing for somebody else.

Looks like Mitchell is definitely going to go high Div I for football, thus ending the slim dream of him coming here to do double duty:

Mitchell going big for football

U20 European Championships news

Mentioned that in post on 6-16-17 referring to Coach Forbes' interview on the radio.

"Great interview with Coach Forbes this morning. Especially interested to hear that Armas, Edwards and Rodriguez were initially considered long shots to come here as there was a lot of high mid-mahor interest in them. Also, intriguing is Armas' decision to skip the U20 European tournament in order to start school work early here. Also, somewhat infuriating that Peter's application for another year of eligibility is being held up by Indiana's tardiness or refusal to release documents concerning Peter's limited playing time there. I never have had much of a positive opinion about the IU athletic administration based on new stories I have read; this does nothing to lessen that."

I'm getting impatient. Have any idea when we will hear something? Also does anyone know if we are still pursing Rey Idowu? He has 8 Division 1 offers now: http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/rey-idowu

Auburn is showing interest in him now too.

This tweet says we are showing interest in Juco 6'9 Kene Chukwuka. He'll have 3 years of eligibility. Could this be the last scholarship?

If I am the only one getting that, son, we watch entirely too much "Game of Thrones".

You seem to be suggesting that our 5th year senior is a "faceless man", kind of like Arya Stark: "a girl has no name". Of course Arya finally rejected that and pulled out of the training to seek vengeance for her family, almost at the cost of her life.

RE: Recruits for 2017-2018
Where is Rutgers nowadays? Lovely Newark? New Brunswick, which has at least 5 sub-campuses? Camden? The basketball arena is in Piscataway, but campuses appear to be spread all over New Jersey.

The saying in football recruiting circles used to be that New Jersey was fertile recruiting ground for out of staters, with a large population and no loyalty to in-state institutions.

This will be quite a change from Gate City.
