I've lost count. 13 is listed on the roster on the website, but that doesn't include the guy from Vermont, Patrick Good, McCloud, and I may be missing someone else. And of those players, we are VERY guard heavy. Will be interesting how this team takes shape and how Forbes can keep all of these guards happy.
I count six guys 6-6 or over on the posted roster (Edwards, Armus, Jurkin, Rodrigugez, Harrison, Burrell) that I would assume will play the 3,4, or 5 position, and 7 guys 6-4 or under that typically play the 1 or 2 position (Bradford, Payne, Long, Obi-Rapu, Reppart, Williams, and Hodges). I don't think that's all that guard heavy, and that's just what the posted roster is. Gray from Vermont is 6-6, so that makes 7 that are 6-6 or over, and I think he's a wing. Although Good & McCloud are guards, that makes for 9 guards and 7 guys who can play the wing or the middle, I assume, unless one of these 6-6 guys is another Adam Sollazzo (was he really 6-6?). That's not all that guard heavy, but it is 16 players on the roster. I assume we will see a couple of redshirts, maybe more, or maybe Reppart will be gone. Certainly it's the deepest roster I can ever remember us having.
But I agree, it is weird, compared to the days of Bartow, where we we had one guy over 6-6, 9 guys 6-4 or under (and probably only one that was actually 6-4) and two scholarships remaining open.
There's a method to this madness. Forbes and company will figure this out.

For what it's worth, McCloud started 16 of 35 games and was a significant part of the rotation at 21.3 minutes. In conference he took a big step forward in his minutes (25.4), points per game (11.4 on .375 from 3) and his importance as part of the team (7th in minutes and 6th in scoring to 4th in both minutes and scoring; 11 of his 16 starts were during the conference season).
But, yeah, I see your point.

I know this should be in a new thread, but we've already been putting 2018-2019 stuff in this thread..........and this may not even be relevant. Just throwing it out there. Actually sounds like he can play some:

Says that they should be signing a couple of more players in about 8 to 10 hours.
Any idea who they might be?
We have other 2 guys who committed, Curtis and Williamson so maybe them? We have 6 seniors, is Good taking a scholarship next year?
