Still see no indication that TT will be fired. Tonight in an interview at halftime, Bohn was asked about difficulties other than facilities updates. He mentioned the difficulty of holding onto staff. I do not know if he was foreshadowing or not.

Bohn is not going to give any indication that he is going to get rid of a coach. Any AD worth a damn keeps decisions like that very private.

This. What is he supposed to say? " Everything is going great and I can't wait til December 7th to fire my football coach".

I would not bring up personnel. He took the conversation in this direction. It is probably nothing, but there is certainly no indication at all that he will be let go.

After everything else this year, we don't need to turn it into a circus like UT has done with Strong. Texas has millions to throw at cleaning up that kind of shitshow. UC does not. Play it cool until December 7th and then do a clean, professional firing. It doesn't throw red meat to the masses, but it's what's best for the university.

Just going to put it over here, because it's not really worth it's own thread, but the coaching carousel is starting to spin.

Looks like Tom Herman is gone from Houston...

Why waste the extra million? At least have some sense behind the rumors...I won't believe that until after the damn presser.

The rumor is a mutual agreement. No other details.

Unlikely unless the agreed upon termination date is December 8th.

If it's mutual effective 12/8 he saves a little face and we can start openly searching.

Plus Tubby can start his golf trail trip early.

They probably went to Tubs and said we're firing you on December 7; would you rather leave now and we'll still give you the money owed. It serves neither side any good to wait a week and a half.

RE: Tuberville SUCKS FIRE TUBERVILLE
from Forde's new piece on the carousel:

Quote:..Another portentous game Friday: Toledo at Western Michigan. Having led his team to an 11-0 record, the Broncos’ P.J. Fleck has options to consider.

And another program that finishes its season Friday and could make a change: Cincinnati, which plays at Tulsa at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Bearcats are a dismal 4-7 in their fourth season under Tommy Tuberville, with just one win in American Athletic Conference play.

If the 62-year-old Tuberville retires or is fired, expect Cincinnati to look for a candidate with offensive expertise to revive a program that has stopped being fun to watch (the Bearcats have scored a total of 26 points in their past four games, all losses). Western Kentucky’s Jeff Brohm, 27-10 in three seasons as head coach of the Hilltoppers, could be a strong candidate if Cincinnati opens...
