My point is we beat you pretty easily. Wasn't worried at all the whole game.
Glad you werent...ya had confidence in your team even when it was 14-7 at the start of the third...but saying utsa dominated is inaccurate

My opinion, sorry bud. Good game though, glad we won.

They led by double digits most of the game, and never really was in a position that you felt they were going to lose. They answered the score by UNT immediately and led 24-7 at the end of 3. So I would say they dominated the game.

We should have won last week on that FG in OT to be at 5-3. Instead we are 4-4. Oh well. I'm glad we wore awesome jerseys and played okay, not our best performance but we won pretty easily

Dude, we had like 4 or 5 turnovers. And they were all stupid mistakes by us. Most teams lose when that happens. Congrats on the win, but you're either ignoring context or didn't watch the game.To say you dominated is a stretch.

Turnovers are a part of the game. Schemes, strips, sacks, reading the QB's eyes, etc. So essentially that's what happened and we dominated you in the turnover battle as well as the score. You didn't score 1 point in the first half. You essentially had 1 long QB sneak for 80 yards and then we held you to a FG. Game was basically over after we scored and were up by 21 points.

Good game though you guys will be good sometime soon. Did y'all see that nasty sack?

I wouldn't say UTSA dominated us. However, you could say their defensive front dominate our offensive line. We couldn't run the ball and Fine was under pressure most of the night. Both interceptions were partly due to pressure. Fine had a bad game but it was our offensive line which was the biggest issue. Our oline has been a troubled spot most of the season.

UTSA didn't dominate. The Roadrunners just imposed their will on UNT with a comfortable lead the entire game.

So using your logic, your win against Army was barely a win with no domination by UNT either because of all their turnovers. Face it, UNT was easily out-coached and outplayed tonight. You have a great freshman at quarterback and will have a team that will continue to improve as young as they are. Look forward to good games to come and continued DOMINATION in the series by UTSA.

Do you (UNT) feel like you played bad?

I thought we played awful on offense. It should have been 28-0 in the first half. Or 28-7.

Short fields for the offense and a bend but don't break defensive strategy once a lead was built. That's really the only reason for the yardage stat. UNT had like 40 yards midway through the 2nd Qtr. I'd say UTSA was in control throughout the game.

There are three football teams in the state of Texas that play in a dome, the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Texans, and the UTSA Roadrunners. :)

We were denying UNT access to the goal line like Dikembe Mutombo blocks shots but hey, they racked up some yardage.

LOL

RE: North Texas@UTSA: Game Thread
There are two games I absolutely want to win every year (three starting next year when we start to play Southwest Teachers College again) and that's UTEP and UNT. Being soooo close but losing to UTEP sucked, but I'll take the 50/50 with the win over UNT. The crap these two schools spewed when we first entered CUSA was ridiculous. I love it when we win and hear their fan base cry about it. UNT, here's to an injury free successful rest of your season! I'm going to finish drinking and enjoy the scoreboard.

Im watching the highlights of their QB getting killed. He had a nice run though. I don't like seeing a QB outrun our db's
