Blame West Virginia and the other football schools for not holding up their end of the bargain. If those schools did what they were supposed to, maybe UConn would have gone 1-11 like Memphis did that season.

He was in trouble anyway. 10 wins in 3.5 seasons is just not good enough. Hell spend this season with an average of 3-4 wins/season. I'm just glad Mo seems to have somehow gotten this team around the corner. Benching Scott played a role in that, playing UConn probably held a bigger role, but I think Mo "rerecruiting" the guys after Matthew helped.

We would've likely won last week if not for Scott's fumble. With him benched this week we won AND didn't even have a potential turnover let alone an actual one. I know it's apples to oranges but we've been a different team since the hurricane.
