Good game Miners. I didn't get to watch all of the game but my take always were your punter has a hell of a leg and you've got some pretty girls in the stands.

Absolutely, UTSAs is the best I've seen thus far.

Keep in mind, the UTSA broadcasts are done by a local San Antonio TV station.

Thanks /\

To me, the difference in this game was the receivers. ODU the WRs made some big plays when needed and UTEP the receivers were not making the play. Otherwise though UTEP looked better for most of the game, good luck the rest of the season.

I hope ODU and UTEP stay on each other's schedule. CUSA needs to promote its neighborhood rivalries.

I kinda saw it this way to. Seems many of our big plays were actually busted plays DW managed to salvage. Hardly a dominating performance, our D line disappeared for much of the middle of the game, same for O line.

RE: **********ODU @ UTEP********
Stats seem to agree. Very close statistically. One big difference was we scored off of a TO, they did not. Rushing almost identical. We had a 58 yard advantage in passing. They had more 4th down conversions, held the ball much longer. Of course th most important stat is the score, and we dominated there.

Giles- you love stats, what do these stats suggest to you?

Absolutely. 2000 miles of ambivalence! Who can't get behind that?

We had 60 more yards on 20 less plays. That is a pretty big difference. The difference was our ability to pass very well (12 yards per attempt) and their inability to pass (aided by some drops) DW also took about a 25 yard sack that hurts numbers.

I was pleasantly surprised with our ability to slow down Jones, who is probably the best back in the conference. (3.8 ypc)
