It's just another example of why you really shouldn't look too deep at preseason shenanigans. He had ODU as the favorite and switched it to UAB. What changed during that time? The C-USA coaches poll. I guarantee all JoeL does is look at the polls first, and then he will look at who has the top standing in C-USA regardless of opponent all season long, and the C-USA leader will be anywhere from a 12 to a 15 seed. So just a heads up for those of you that like to look at this thing, don't take it very seriously.

One thing I noticed against VSU is that Jones is not going to be afraid to play Talley at the 4. A lineup of Caver, Baker, Stith, Talley, and Stith might end up being our most effective offensive lineup, and Talley would be a nightmare matchup for the opposing team that tries to play with two bigs.

Talley might go off for 20 any night he's guarded by a true PF.
