Our coaches don't back off 4* and high 3* recruits that have committed. It's just life against the big leagues.

I think recruiting is the one area where TC can go at length and not really ever get called on it. Recruiting is such an intangible thing in terms of who really is talented, not talented, who the staff REALLY wanted, etc..

If I were a recruit and I saw that even a teammate shot up a players car I would decommit in an instant. You could get killed that way.

Then you haven't been watching the crime reports related to athletics at other schools. Memphis has a much lower number of incidents compared to most SEC & B12 schools.
