I think Duke got away with a self-safety there.

The Official Army-Wake Forest Game Thread
The last two games have been won by Wake Forest by 3.

Thus, I expect another narrow, heartbreaking defeat.

But I will have some hope for today.

Absolute pathetic execution and focus from Louisville. Constant dropped passes that would have been long gains if not TD's, 25 yard shanked punts, 10 gifted points based on field position. Didn't come to play in first half.

We typically consolidate all threads into one unless it's a huge game. Makes the board tidier.

RE: Open Thread 2016 - Week 9
Ray Farmer was a great call as the color guy for the GT-Duke game. So you have GT radio network legend Wes Durham and former Duke player and NFL GM Ray Farmer as color. Not bad at all.

Ray Farmer should be a fixture on ACC network coverage, along with Wes Durham. The only SEC guy I'm willing to allow at this point is Jim Bates ... and only because he is accidentally quite entertaining. But he does need somebody like Wes Durham -- a strong voice with a heavy anchor -- to keep him on the reservation.

You choke away this one Paul, and given the remaining schedule you might as well just keep on walkin' out that tunnel.

It is all good. It is your board, I am just a homeless guest wandering from board to board.

Who are the announcers for the Louisville-Virginia game? Never heard their voices before.

Just finished reading PJ's actual contract (laughably, as they scored to momentarily retake the lead).

Fired at the end of this year: $5.97m
Fired at the end of next year: $3m

Sigh. Good job Bobinski. Damned rust belt carpetbagger.

No way Jose, that's your karma coming home to roost by bailing out on the GT game last minute leaving us with 2 FCS opponents.

What did that happen?

I always figured that we are cursed but I couldn't figure why.

Great run by your quarterback. Our quarterback would have pitched it.

Our option offense could only put up 6 points against Duke. Poor quarterback play was the reason.

2007-2008. Army was GT's homecoming in 2007, Army's AD cancelled the 2008 game then and handed GT a check for it.

That was a year before my fandom started.

I did a Google search and couldn't find anything.

We should start another series.
