JMU Game Day
Was just reminded of the pregame setup they had out on Godwin field prior to games last few years... a la ESPN's College Gameday, some hosts would bring you some highlights and keys to the game.

I think it was a decent setup and then obviously when College GameDay came to town, it was a glimpse of what could be...

any traction to get a JMU specific pregame show out with fans in the background to get some hype on campus prior to games or is it just too hard to pull people from tailgates?

In my opinion, an awesome pregame show would be setting up a camera on the deck of APC looking at the crowd walking in for the game while playing the audio of Dave Thomas' radio pregame show on top of the video feed. I think this could be better because you have fans going in starting an hour before kickoff with some players warming up and it would be nice to see the stadium slowly fill up with the culmination of the team's entrance and then off to Curt and co-host for the play by play. I get antsy and would like to see some kind of pregame before the kickoff.
