Damn near any celebrity can get one if they pay for it. It is not that big an honor.

a number of high profile celebs don't have one because they won't pay the fee.

I think he got the first one after the Apprentice started Bison.. Atlhough it may have been before that. And I think the price tag is something like $100K to get yourself a star on the walk of fame if you're asked.. but I'm not sure on that number anymore.

Do you realize how many TV show awards there are? Game of Thrones has won 38 Emmy awards. Not nominated, awarded.

They have 235 awards and 607 nominations.

For what it's worth John Oliver has 14 wins and 19 nominations after two season. The apprentice has had 14 seasons.

Yeah, so change the name on the star to "The Apprentice".

I'm sure Donald would have no problem with that.
