I'm 43 and I have never missed one election, primary or otherwise. While away at school, I voted absentee. I manage to vote now, right after the polls open, about 6:00 a.m., on the way to work.

Your threshold for "discouraging" voting borders on ridiculous. I wonder how many people who wait in line for the latest Iphone overnight are also those who can't make it out to vote because of time commitments or some other stupid reason.

Way back in college we took a holiday weekend (maybe President's Day? Not sure...lots of blows to the head and cold beer between then and now) ski trip to Beech Mountain and hooked up with some girls from App State at the next house over. The running joke all weekend was "We thought all the guys at Newberry were training to be pastors." and "We thought all the girls at App State didn't shave their pits and legs."
When we started cleaning up Sunday morning before checkout there was a trail of beer cans, those little wine bottles and solo cups between our house and the one they were staying in. That was a grand trip.

I'm just wondering how a campus being a "highly partisan place" -- if that were actually true -- would cause a person who was going to the early voting center to vote to Trump, to suddenly change his/her mind??
