It's funny Uconn didn't care so much about this when they were part of the BCS which was equally corrupt. I guess things change when you're on the outside looking in.

Well, the P5 could avoid this by simply leaving the NCAA and forming their own organization. Problem solved. This would be like cutting your nose off to spite your face for Connecticut ! 07-coffee3

They will never do that bc of the NCAA basketball tournament. And all the other sports they are tied into the NCAA with.

Sure they will. And start their own BB tourney, and figure how how to take most of that money, too.

Yeah, that's like not even remotely true, and you should be ashamed to even bring this lie up. Assuming you had any shame to begin with.

Very cute "stupidity spreading" meme. But it is the CFP in general, and the P5 in particular, that are cartels acting in an anti-competitive manner ... not the NCAA. The NCAA would not even be a defendant. Were the P5 to pull out of the NCAA and take the CFP (cut down to P5 only) with them, that would add to the evidence of their monopolistic conduct and collusion.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it wouldn't be an extremely complicated case were any school(s) brave enough to pursue it.

Well if they did any money they are making would be offset by the taxes they would be paying on the income, in addition to political pressure to add members, and they lose some of the legal protections the NCAA would provide.

Never happen. 65 schools can't just play each other all the time, especially in other sports. They need the other schools.

They will never leave the NCAA. They may bluster and talk but they will never do it.
