Cubs fans may be disappointed
But they are not anywhere as up in arms as Warriors fans tonight.
DAMN you go out and add a former MVP to your four All Star starters and then have your ass handed to you on your own floor by the Spurs on opening night.

RE: Cubs fans may be disappointed
Hot take of the year.
Only 81 games to go.
Two years ago, the Cavs started the season 5-7.
Hell, they were 19-20 that season. Closed the season 34-9. Went to the Finals.
This year GSW knows that the regular season doesn't mean ish. They have 1st hand knowledge of that. It's what happens in the playoffs.
That's why this NBA season is so uninspiring, SAS, Cleveland, and now GSW all will "play" the regular season as a warmup for the playoffs.

But when you set a regular season win record. Lead the finals 3-1 before losing 3 straight. Then you add the previous year's MVP to go with your current MVP. Then the fans do get upset when you lose that first opening game.

You need to find more important things in life to worry about than an NBA regular season game.

I am f'n tired of Maddon's moves. Not playing Heyward cost us that game. Heyward would have eaten that ball up.
