ESPN link to media Video

Pet Peeve - the CAA's own media day kicks it off the segment by saying "now over to the North Carolina Wilmington" men's program.

U of Wilmington is the answer to these problems and I do think it is a big deal. The AD should be all over this.

It wouldn't surprise me, if we went there, the Wilmington University Wildcats in Deleware would mistakenly get more pub than us.

Gotta do something and it's a sure bet nobody has ever heard of Wilmington University in Delaware.

But, people have asked us many times if we are from Delaware.

We are adopting the policy of the University of California Los Angeles and the University of Nevada Las Vegas to solve this problem.

Maybe that was true at one time but that is not the case now. I am all over the country and virtually nobody ever asks that question. Maybe my accent has something to do with it but they just don't ask the question. I am guessing this is just some northern bias with some people but its not true. Not a damn thing about Wilmington,Delaware that compares to us-the place is a dump.

We just asked that last year. Had two different people tell me they were asked. We were also referred to as being from Wilmington Delaware on national TV.

We need to stick with UNCW and keep pushing it.

Having been to Wilmington,Delaware more times than I can remember,it is a real insult to be accused of having a damn thing to with the place. What a dump,like much of the northeast US- it is decaying,dying hole in the ground that sucks the life out the people that are stuck there. Philly is right there with it as a place to avoid at all cost.
