Addressing the WKU question... red shirt senior Junior Lomomba should see a lot of time at point guard (big reason he transferred from providence to wku). He had a minor injury and sat out of the scrimmage.

That makes sense. I was wondering where he was. I watched the video replay and jersey numbers were a bit hard to read.

RE: Part 1: Questions For CUSA Basketball Teams As Season Approaches
Quote:Clearly Ryan Taylor alone cannot be tasked with defending the main post players from every team the Herd will face this season. There will be many situations that he’ll need help. There are only a few post players on the roster, and really only 6-foot-7 Terrance Thompson has seen a considerable amount of playing time.

From the practice reports that have been coming in on Marshall's practices, it sounds like the light bulb may have went off finally for Soph Ajdin Penava from Bosnia And Herzegovina. Those at practice say he has went from about 6'9 to 6'11 this year. Last season he only played in 18 games for 109 mins and scored 35 points.

D'Antoni has said from the beginning that he would redshirt two of the incoming freshman of Jannson Williams, Phil Bledsoe and Ky're Allison. When 1st watching all three video's on them I thought it would be Williams and Allison redshirting. But from reading practice reports and talking to those who are there, they say Williams at 6'8 is to smooth to redshirt.

If both Penava and Williams can help Taylor and Thompson in the middle it should be a solid middle then.

One thing BlazerGold09 didn't mention. I don't see Taylor getting into foul trouble that much this year. He was in foul trouble a lot last year because he was trying to cover his and James Kelly's man. As good as Kelly was on offense he didn't play a lick of defense. Taylor was always trying to rotate on Kellys man and would pick up silly fouls on players he shouldn't have even been guarding.
