This game has me perplexed...

First of all, Temple has been wildly inconsistent. It really does depend on which Temple team shows up...the Temple team that kills itself with stupid penalties and trips over it's own feet or the Temple team that runs wild over the opposite team. If it's the first Temple team, we win easily. If it's the second, then they rack up an insane number of running yards on us and we lose by 2 TD.

Second of all, the Gunner factor. If Gunner isn't "the man," if Gunner doesn't start or is subbed in-and-out, then our offense probably will be anemic. It also will be anemic if the coaching staff puts Gunner on too short a leash. Thus far in the season, you don't need a competent Defense to stop the UC Offense, you just needed to stop the pass. If we start having success on the Pass, it might open up the run and loosen things up a little. But if we revert to a monochromatic offense, look for a long day.

So, I'm split. Going into the season, I picked this as a "sure loss." But Temple has underwhelmed and Gunner's performance last week gives some hope. So, I'm going to hedge my bets a little bit: Temple runs like crazy over our D but we hang with them in a shoot-out. Temple gets the home field advantage:
