And that's only because I haven't seen him play yet. The other 5 I would definitely take over Dungey. Normally you see a QB like Dungey play and you think he's got to be one of the best QBs in the conference. Well this years ACC is not your average conference for QBs. There's a very good chance Dungey is no better than the 7th best QB.

Head to Head. Dungey was much better than VT's QB

I was there...one had a clue and the other one not so much

I'll take our record versus Syracuse all day. Look at the fanbase feeling all mighty because of two wins.... Wow...

Your record versus Syracuse is under .500%

Ofcourse VT has better players right now but the haters will soon realize Babers is the type of HC that will get us back in the Top 25.

Haters? Oh give me a break. Hey think of it this way, if BC were to actually win two basketball games in the upcoming ACC basketball season and some of their fans started comparing their point guard as one of the greatest, even though their program has a losing record for the season. 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

When Syracuse actually has a winning football record in the conference, then I'll give some credence to all the talk about how "great" Syracuse football is going to be. I mean I get it, you guys finally beat a ranked team and that is amaxing for you all. Do it on a consistent basis and other fans will take Syracuse seriously. For now, all you guys are doing is flapping in the wind, and it is sad....07-coffee3

Geez...a VT fan mocking BC BB??!! Let's see. BC BB is 12-7 against VT since joining the ACC and 4-1 against VT in the past 4 years. Enough said. BC is quietly rebuilding since the Donahue disaster and I think a lot of people are going to be surprised this year. Not saying this team is NCAA bound, but I think its going to sneak up on a lot of teams.

As far as Dungey is concerned...very good QB, but, IMO, he needs to keep his emotions in check a bit better. That bs on the sideline in the 1st quarter of the BC game could have very well gotten him kicked out of the game.

The irony of a VT fan talking down to a SU fan is this. VT and ECU were once very similar programs, and it wasn't that long ago that they were.

I dont know about that. I believe that VT has always been a much better school, academically than ECU. The fb programs may have been similar, but ECU is not a terrible fb program.

Just a point of clarification, Lamar Jackson is a true Sophmore, he will be back at Louisville next year. And when he does leave Jawon Pass is redshirting this year he is pretty good.

No the irony is BC being in the ACC. I don't know what the heck happened to your football program but going winless in conference last year and perhaps this year. Yeah, that's rich.

How many decades ago was that? It always amazes me that people who are fans of a sport that is so immersed in the "What have you done for me lately" mentality always goes back into history to make a point. Weak.

Also, I would highly recommend that Dunegy keep his hands to himself when playing the other teams left on Syracuse schedule.

It was as late as the early/mid 90's. But if you want to go the what have you done for me lately path, then I'll direct your attention to the scoreboard.

Seriously though, I think that history only doesn't matter if you're X<~20, and/or you're a fan of a school that doesn't have it. Otherwise, what the heck is Texas selling? What is ND selling? What was Michigan selling? Why can't BSU sell itself?

You obviously have never played Football or been in the military.

Dungey may have drawn a 15 yard penalty but he gained the respect of every player on the team for the way he threw that player down.

Right. I forgot, results of individual games > end of season record. Still weak.

You obviously have never played Football or been in the military.

Dungey may have drawn a 15 yard penalty but he gained the respect of every player on the team for the way he threw that player down.

Ah yes, the Internet machismo. PUFF that chest out there tough guy. Ohh, I'm impressed. Give me a break. This is the best that Syracuse has? Can't make an arguement so you have to make a lame, and I mean lame, attempt to deflect. For the record, I'm sure Dungey is a good QB, but he would better serve his team by not drawing penalties nor almost starting a bench clear brawl that could get some of his guys hurt. But hey, he's a tough guy! Good one.

Your animus and shrill machinations is getting tiring. This isn't Tech Sideline or whatever it is called...grow up.

No, loser talk is weak. Win the game if you're going to mouth off. Otherwise, you sound like a 18 year old kid crying about a loss.
