Damn, was hoping despite being rescheduled the few weeks prep would allow UCF vs Tulane to get on actual TV and not stuck on ESPN3 that week. Bummer. On the flip-side though, maybe more people will attend in person.

ESPN 3 for a conference game?

This game was originally scheduled for Friday, Oct 7th on ESPN2/U however was rescheduled due to Hurricane Matthew. Both teams had a BYE week then, so worked out. Just surprised it wasn't able to get on CBSSN or ESPNews at least.

ESPN 3 for a conference game?

Espn news has a 8 pm game. I almost prefer this game off the major grid so maybe we can get fans to attend.

Sucks that I purchased Magic tickets this night because ucf was going to be off.

loving the Memphis @ SMU slot. I've got a Memphis-Dallas flight at 830 am and will be back before 10:00 pm.

Tulane @ UCF got ESPN3 because:

-the Big 10 stole the 12noon ESPNews slot (Michigan St. @ Illinois)
-the Mountain West took the 7pm CBS Sports Network slot (Hawaii @ San Diego State)...this typically would go into a 10:30pm/late night CBS Sports Network window but that didn't appear to be an option.
-I also don't see anything scheduled for 3:30pm or 7:00pm on ESPNU.

bottom line - more games to place than available TV windows meant something needed to be placed onto ESPN3....Tulane @ UCF was the odd ball out.
