Do you guys realize all of the things he does? He teaches those boys to become great men and he uses football to teach life lessons. I agree you could get someone younger and more energetic, but I am not for firing Baliff. I agree he needs to make some changes to his staff (maybe hire a younger coaching staff that relates to kids better), maybe hire a local HS coach or two that would help in recruiting. It sure has worked for U of H with Meekins. Demand that your coaches use Twitter and start winning on the recruiting trail.
Hahahahahahaha. Read the hundreds and thousands of posts detailing his shortcomings.
As for the teaching great life lessons, we can get a great guy and ambassador who does all of this for FAR LESS THAN 800 grand per year.
Anyways, read some posts. This has been covered ad nauseum.
This. +1000.
So, what life lesson is DB teaching by having no accountability for on field performance? These kids were brought here to compete and play football. Helping students move in and being in the community is nice, but there is no emphasis on he job they were brought in to do.

There is plenty of emphasis on them playing, competing and winning games. During the FAU game they played a segment on Dillard and his internship this summer. His routine entailed getting up before 6 AM every morning to make workouts at the stadium with the team for ~2 hrs before he drove down to Clear Lake.
The emphasis is not lacking, it's the coaching that is. And I would also buy that accountability is lacking.
