Agreed. CBS did pick up on it.

RE: Bluenanza Tonight
I called yesterday. The tickets are supposed to be arriving in the mail this week. A bit close, but oh well.

I went to Bluenanza for only the 2nd time tonight and it was indeed a great environment. Looking forward to the season.

I haven't received my tickets yet- does anyone else have theirs or know when they will be mailing them out? Seems like I usually have the tickets in hand much earlier than this.

Haven't gotten mine either. And am also feeling a little antsy.

Burrell's a sleeper. He's got Deuce/Tubbs athleticism on a prototypical wing frame.

2 or 3 clicks on that link would generate way more traffic than he's used to, so don't overload his server.

More importantly, it did make SportsCenter. I saw a link to a clip on Twitter, through Facebook. Unable to find an actual link I can repost, sorry. ESPN mixed the players' names, but they also showed one of AJ's windmills.

I think said joy is evident in many of these pics:

This is maybe the biggest difference from the Bartow years: Forbes ability to inspire "the enthusiasm, camaraderie, and sense of joy" in the team. The joy at the end, with guys hugging each other and cheering each other on - you just can't fake that.

Bartow often came across as the ultimate disapproving father, standing at a remove from the players, frowning and shaking his head. Forbes lets himself get into the emotion of it. Even when he's angry, there seems to be a basis of passion that lets the players believe that he's there for them, that he's got their back.

You can let the emotion get a little out of control, as I believe it did at the end of the UTC tournament game, which could have been handled better. But overall, its a key to building a team from a collection of guys who are new to each other.

I wonder with Bartow how much of it was due to the influence of his former boss Bobby Knight, who titled his last book "The Power of Negative Thinking". In most situations, the positive approach will work better.

Note that the announcer gets T.J. to "guarantee" his responding shot.

Now over 19,700 views on youtube already, in less than 3 days.
