Seriously it is a shame that we don't get to play very much in FB. Maybe ODU will be in Ruston next season. We already have a pretty decent rivalry going without playing much outside of BB. We developed a similar deal in the WAC with Fresno St. and it made the games more exciting.

ODU fans couldn't care less about Louisiana Tech. I don't know what rivalry you speak of. It seems to come solely from LT posters on this site.

you are correct - there is no rivalry here.
The only rivalry so far is between Dawgxas and the whole ODU fan base.
So next time - you lump Tech in when you guys get into a fight with Dawgxas.

I agree, in concept. I very much like and admire the La. Tech program and posters generally. You guys are very worthy opponents, and excellent conference mates.

But isn't Dawgxas exactly why moderators were invented? We've certainly had our handful of rogue posters -- who may or may not have actually belonged to ODU but were posting under our flag. None of them have lasted very long, and were quickly and promptly corralled/banned by our moderators.

So what's up with your moderator (Winston70)? Until he decides to actually do his job, Dawgxas is on all of you La. Tech posters collectively.

(For the record, I actually enjoy most all of Dawgxas's posts. Whatever annoyance he creates is by far outweighed by the entertainment of seeing how truly miserable he is.)

I will be more than happy to review any post you think crosses the line from any poster. As a moderator I try not to get too involved banning and warning posters unless they really cross the line. As you know this board has several moderators in addition to me. I will be stepping down at the end of this football season - big believer in term limits I guess.

I have enjoyed our rivalry with ODU in BB even though I think we have only won 1 time in CUSA and have lots of respect for ODU's sports programs.

The 90% of the people reading this thread, who are neither LaTech nor ODU posters, would appreciate you breaking this junk off of a legit and interesting thread. Let them flame away on their own thread where the rest of us don't have to read it. Thanks!
