You guys had a pretty damn good season last year.

Oh sure we will have great seasons. But every time we get close to building on that into absolute greatness we "coog" it. It never fails and it just gets really tiring after a while.

As a fan of a team that had some damn good years then tailed off a bit, all I can say is enjoy the hell out of it while it lasts.

Oh believe I do. I know how rare it is when it happens. I just get jealous that schools like Alabama can have bandwagon fans that never show up to a game but are always rewarded with a good team every year. I wish karma rewarded those who actually had to be loyal through the really hard times.

Houston fans, MEMPHIS fans endured this last year. Started off 8-0 and then crashed once the team found out Fuente was talking with VT and locking in his new contract. Similar to Herman, he preached full commitment to the TIGER program to the players, yet was covertly making his escape plans. We showed a lack of focus and full effort against Navy on Nov 7, losing 45-20. They tried to rebound at Houston on Nov. 14, losing again in a close one. They then just quit against Temple on the road in Nov 21; just got spanked.

It sucks. You honestly have my sympathy.

It would be best of Herman just left now and let an interim coach take over. Having a "divided house" will tear a team apart.

There are some serious injuries on this team. That said, it's clear they were overrated. OU isn't very good and if you look close enough, some of the early wins weren't impressive looking back. Texas State is garbage, Lamar was a scrimmage and Cincy actually led by 4 in the fourth before losing by 24. UConn was a good win but even it left room for improvement. And suddenly, they don't look like a top 25 team this month.

I knew all along that if teams pressured and spied on Ward, he could be neutralized and suddenly everyone else would have to beat you. We Coog fans have a high self esteem but UH has had only two really good teams the last five years and they were separated by four years.

It's not the end of the world but it's obvious Herman has work to do, if he even sticks around to build.
