It is amazing how so many try so hard to defend the coach that left.
He was a hulluva coach, he lost focus after he started negotiating with VaTech {after the Ole Miss Game}
He tried to win, but his focus was not what it took to keep our incredible win streak going. I don't know why that is so hard to understand.
What leads you to believe his focus wasnt there?

Fuente's focus was always there. The deflate-gate was the team knowing Fuente was pretty much gone to V Tech after the Ole Miss victory. It's tough keeping momentum when your coach is bailing on you at the end of the season. Same with Houston. I wouldn't be surprised to see Herman gone once the season expires.

Because I know what it takes to focus, it takes undivided attention. I'm, sure Fuente thinks he and the staff focused, I'm sure he spent the time and made the effort , but it would have been impossible for him and 8 other guys to focus solely on going 1-0 when they were planning on skipping town in a few weeks

This. I'm sure he tried, but no way we got his 100%.
