RE: Thank goodness Barry Odom turned us down
On this day of thanksgiving, I'm so very thankful Justin Fuente came our way to resurrect our once dead football program. Also thankful for Mike Norvell who'll continue this growth with a plan to taking it to the next level. Lastly but not least, very, very thankful for an administration (finally) who actually cares for and knows the importance of a winning college football program and investing in this program to actually help in its growth.....Oops, failed to mention, I'm so very thankful for Tubby Smith, it's now fun again to be at the forum to watch the Tigers play. GO TIGERS!

And probably sooner than later. Unfortunate for Odom, the MO admin isn't really behind him. The prevailing thought is that MO "settled" for Odom, given the university tumult that was ongoing during the coach search period. The univ. president allegedly interviewed about 6 potential candidates after interviewing Odom for the job & offered it to 3 of those 6 but were turned down. Barry is a MO alum & you have to think none of that mattered to him to be able to get the HC job at his alma mater. I give Odom 3 yrs at MO, maybe 4 at most.
Yep they basically offered to job to anyone with a pulse
It's not a good job IMO now that it's in the sec
Odom was just so pumped about being at his alma mater that he couldn't see the forest for the trees
It was never a good job. Missouri has always been the big boy's whipping boy.
