Open QB scrambles out of trouble and completes a pass to the USM 22 in the middle of the field. Open is too slow spiking the ball once the ref starts the clock. Open head coach Les Miles inexplicably doesn't call his final time out. The horn sounds, ball game.

USM hangs on to win the damn thing by 1.

Hayell yeah baby!!!! Thought we were gonna blow this game. never been so happy since we beat UT-Arlington 58-14 in 1981...
