So who in the MAC thought it was fair to make Akron play three games in 11 days? Two road games in five days, followed by six days until Toledo at home.

Toledo also plays 3 games in 12 days (it's 12, not 11)

You play to win the game. That's why Akron went for it on 4th and 1 at midfield instead of punting. Hindsight is 20/20. Earlier in the game they went for and converted a 4th and 1. Didn't see you complain about that call.

Akron:

Both are taking care of business in the MAC East.

Both have Toledo and Buffalo left on the schedule. One game very tough, one game very easy.

Then Akron plays BG and Ohio plays CMU. Akron has the edge here.

But it doesn't matter so long as Ohio is no more than 1 game back going into the final game of the season against Akron in Peden Stadium...

NIU still with a chance at continuing its bowl streak.

EMU scores a late 4th quarter TD. Gives the Eagles 31 points and ties them with Georgia Southern's 31 as the most points scored against WMU all season.

Great to see EMU doing so well. The MAC West is poised to be ridiculously competitive these next few years.

WMU should be moving up at least one spot in the rankings with #17 Arkansas probably losing to Auburn.

Ohio also plays 3 games in 12 days, and also plays 2 road games in 5 days. The difference is Akron's short rest 2nd road game is @Buffalo and Ohio's is @Toledo.

Arkansas currently losing by 32 in the third. Houston is also losing by 14 in the second.
