Our defense is all world this season. Haven't given up a touchdown in conference play other than the TD yesterday with 4 seconds left and our backups in the game. Problem is our offense has been very sluggish at times. If we have a game where our defense isn't 100% or our offense gets shut down, we may be in for a low scoring matchup where anything could happen.

we are very, very good protecting the redzone, teams move the ball from the 20 to 20, but end up settling for field goals. The passing game is finally taking shape, Meadows just had his third straight 100 yd game, but we still don't have a wr that can really stretch the field with his speed, Really need Cox to play this week, he has missed a month of games, and his replacement, Moore, looked tired and alittle worn out yesterday, just didn't have the same burst he has had in previous games.

Can never prove otherwise but I don't think he was. Monster effort either way. Probably one of the best games we've played against each other....the end of the 4th quarter still gets me all twisted up just thinking about.

Not sure he was, but it doesn't matter. S*** play-calling as well as not being able to hit easy field goals cost us that game. That is the one loss to App I'm really bitter about.

One thing I will say for this coaching staff....they're not going to treat App State like it's just another game like Fritz did. The game plan they come up with may not be worth a crap, but at least they will put up an effort.

I knew we were in trouble last year when we were reminded on the pre-game show at least 3 times of the short week, even though we had a bye week and NMSU before that.

I wish I could talk some smack for this game but it is just impossible to do so when I have seen the absolutely clueless offensive attack we have rolled out there this year. Our defensive play is regressing too

GS will be able to play loose, they have nothing to lose. When talented players play a rival at home at night with nothing to lose that is dangerous.
